Goals galore!

21st Sep 2021
There were plenty of goals to see last weekend, the majority of which were scored by Town's teams!
The First Team put 8 goals past Old Parmiterians during an 8-1 victory which saw James Collins net 5, shooting himself up to the top of the club's goalscorers table.
The Reserve's match was postponed, but on Sunday morning the Veterans continued the goalfest with a 9-2 victory over Cambridge & Impington Vets, with seasoned striker Nathan Searle nabbing a hat-trick, and Chris Carter bagging a brace, moving himself to his 150th, and then his 151st goal for the club.
The Ladies put in a tremendous performance on Sunday afternoon, beating Sherrardswood Ladies 4-3, with goals from Danielle Aken, Georgia Gannaway and a brace from Isobel Cotton.
The club's latest squad, the Walking Footballers, were also in action, performing for the first time in the Middlesex Walking Football League.
With no substitutes, no recognised goalkeeper and suffering tropical conditions, the 6-man squad played 4 consecutive 20-minute matches with just 5 minutes between each.
The results - lost 3-0 to Cheshunt, lost 4-1 to Bounds Green, lost 4-1 to Enfield Town Whites, won 4-1 to Enfield Town Blues.
Despite the defeats, great performances with a well-earned victory during the final match; the next set of league matches are scheduled for the 17th October.
