Due to the recent weather the club has yet to play a game during 2016.
The pitch at The Bury is slowly improving and if the weather forecast is to be believed, the next few days will be dry which hopefully will allow the water table to drop and reduce the waterlogging.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the weather and decisions on using the pitch have to be taken on a week by week basis.
We are not the only club which has been forced to postpone games and the HSCL has told all clubs that in order to reduce the backlog midweek fixtures will be necessary.
In the meantime, with no action on the pitch, it is essential that as many players as possible attend training in order to keep up fitness levels.
