Spirits Dampened

High hopes for a winning start to 2015 were dashed on Saturday when the rain put paid to any action at The Bury.
The long-awaited visit from Old Parmiterians was postponed due to waterlogging of the pitch; the incessant rain endured on Saturday morning added more water to an already wet pitch and the game was postponed as mid-day approached.
All but one County League league matches were postponed - hopefully the season can start in earnest this weekend.
