A torrid Tuesday.

You never know what you are going to get during early season midweek matches, but unfortunately for Town we got a double-whammy yesterday.
The First Team faced last season's Premier Division runners up Letchworth Garden City Eagles last night, and despite being competitive for the first quarter of the match a succession of defensive blunders resulted in a 3-0 deficit at half time.
The second half was always going to be a battle, and the opposition upped their game and showed great quality, finally running out as 8-1 winners, with Buntingford's consolation goal coming by way of a fine strike by Max Camp.
Letchworth will be a force in the league again this season.
The Reserves played a friendly at Barkway against Royston 'A', and the side did exceptionally well by trailing just 1-0 at half time.
We fielded a young side and the experience of the opposition eventually came to the fore and by the time the final whistle blew had added 5 more goals to their tally.
