To the Max!

Supercharged Town exhibited the kind of exhilerating football we all know they are capable of on Saturday, running out as 8-1 victors over Allenburys Sports at The Bury.
In a match dominated by the home side a good-sized crowd saw Buntingford put on one of their best displays of the season, the kind of form which visitors Allenburys just could not live with.
Max Camp (right) bagged four goals in all, taking himself to the top of the club's goalscorers' table; the other scorers were Les Chappell, Chris Babbage, Rino Bussola and Wes Pullen.
The Reserves also put in a great showing, drawing 1-1 with second-place Standon & Puckeridge, again, surely one of the best performances of the season so far; Louis Gilbert scored Town's goal.
Unfortunately it was not to be a win on Sunday for the Vets who went down 2-1 to Therfield, although Sean Heather's mazey run and finish for Town's only goal was worthy of the Premiership!
The absence of midfield trio Richard Thorp, Simon Blazey and Nick Savage was a telling factor in the performance, but even so, the number of chances that went begging in the second half told their own story - this was a game we should have won.
