Neill Hits Four!

8th Sep 2009
On Sunday James Neill struck four times as the Vets won 5-4, and he now has a clear lead in the club's goalscorer's table. This result was the perfect warm-up to their tour of Illfracombe this coming weekend; the side's other goal came courtesy of Lee Grinyer.
There's no opportunity for the First Team to turn round its fortunes this weekend as they have no game.
The 3-0 defeat at Bedmond was a disappointment, particularly as the score was 0-0 at half time, but it must be said that the opposition was the best we have faced so far during this campaign; Bedmond have a Daniel Campbell hat-trick to thank for the victory.
The Reserves will be hoping to pick up their first point(s) of the season at Croxley Guild who were soundly beaten by 5 goals to 1 by Standon & Puckeridge last weekend.
