A Tidy Weekend.

1st Feb 2009
The First Team bounced back fom last weekend's disappointing result to beat Knebworth by a slender 1-0 on Saturday.
The performance itself was very encouraging and perhaps a few more goals should have gone the home sides's way, but the young Knebworth side is to be credited on a gutsy performance during what was a very entertaining match.
The Reserves' current run of good form saw them beat Lemsford 3-1 and they go into next weekend's home fixture against Knebworth full of confidence.
The Vets also won their match, by the odd goal in three, against an experienced Wormley side which was unable to batter down the doors of a determined Buntingford defensive shield.
All in all a very satisfactory weekend.
