Following Wednesday's Annual General Meeting the club now has a new Committee which consists of some new faces and others which we all know.
Richard Daly stepped down as Chairman and was thanked by all at the AGM for his unstinting work over the last 12 years with the club; for many years Richard has been the driving force behind the club and his enthusiastic input will be missed.
Vice-Chairman Robin Beaumont, who was unable to attend, also left us, and his work in helping the club put together the foundations of an application for FA Charter status was appreciated.
Our hard-working Club Secretary Steve Endacott also stood down as did Fixture Secreatary Fenella Fisher and her husband Paul who were unable to attend.
Buntingford Town FC would like to thank all three for all their efforts over the last season.
Steve Hume was re-elected as Treasurer, and accepted the position of Vice-Chairman; long-standing member Chris Thurgill was elected as the new Chairman and also took on the role of Club Secretary.
Former player Dean Howard is our new Fixture Secretary; Dean, who once held the post of Treasurer for the club, has many years of experience in football matters and is also one of the directors of Buntingford's Football Facility, The Bury.
Two Committee Members were re-elected, namely Steve Blackaby and former Chairman Richard Morris, and player Laurence Salmon also offered his services as a Committee Member - we welcome him to the business end of the organisation.
Our new-look Committee has some hard work ahead of it but we have plenty of experience on board, and the club anticipates that it will receive plenty of support from players and friends alike.
