Footy Famine!

25th Jan 2006
An afternoon of shopping may well be on the cards for Buntingford's home supporters this weekend as there are no games in the Town at all!
With neither District League teams playing, due to early exits from their respective cup competitions, and both County League sides playing away, the only option for Saturday football will be to travel afield.
The pick of the matches is at Whitewebbs, a game which will indicate just how strong our first string are as they play the league leaders for the first time this season.
The Reserves expect a tough challenge at Hatfield, with both sides looking to improve upon the 1-1 draw between them earlier in the month.
Even Sunday afternoon's U16s fixture against Ransome Sports will need to be moved due to maintenance work at The Bury - we will hopefully schedule the game on another local pitch and hope that the lads maintain their unbeaten league record.
