Arsenal Celebs to meet Town's Vets

A team made up of Town's Veterans and Cougars' Managers will meet an Arsenal Celebrity XI on Sunday June 19th in a charity event at The Bury.
On Sunday 19th June Buntingford plays host to an Arsenal Celebrity team at what is sure to be a family extravaganza of football, fun and games for kids and adults alike.
The fun starts at 11am at The Bury, ‘Buntingford’s home of football’, which is at the Sainsburys Distribution Centre, London Rd, Buntingford, just off the A10 between Ware and Royston.
In recent matches the Arsenal team has included ex-Arsenal stars such as Perry Groves, Ian Allinson, Chris White and Paul Davies.
Also making regular appearances for the Arsenal team have been stars from sport and TV such as Mark Ramprakash (cricket) and Martin Offiah (rugby), Ralf Little (Royle family), Tony Hadley (Pop star) and Tommy Walsh (Ground Force).
There will be penalty competitions, target shooting, a bouncy castle, dancing displays as well as lots of other activities going on.
The facility boasts a welcoming clubhouse where food and drink will be served from the licensed bar.
Gates open at 11am and the big match featuring the Arsenal celebrity team will kick-off at 3pm so get there early, enjoy the fun and see if the stars can produce their silky skills.
