The Buntingford Sports Association (BSA) has launched an appeal in order to raise funds to help replace the equipment lost during the recent Norfolk Road fire. Collection buckets will be placed in the supermarkets and pubs in the town for you to place your donations.
Buntingford Town FC, the Cougars, the Cricket Club and the Netball Club have all lost equipment in the pavilion fire.
At a recent meeting of the BSA it was decided to pool our efforts to raise funds and then distribute the proceeds accordingly.
The main benefactor will be the Cricket Club as their loss is far more significant than that of the other organisations, but all the clubs will benefit.
Please donate generously to this cause.
The sporting associations within our town exist for the benefit of the whole community - we are now calling on the goodwill of the people of Buntingford for assistance in our hour of need.
