3 on the spin...

22nd Feb 2003
Town's first-string secured their 3rd consecutive win this afternoon with a comprehensive victory over North Mymms. The Reserves also gained an unexpected point against 3rd-place Hinton Reserves, a result which will surely build their confidence for the rest of the season.
2 goals from Luke Tyler and 1 from Pete Costen before the half-time whistle effectively killed off this afternoon's tie, with North Mymms never really looking as though they would gain anything from the game, despite a goal midway through the second period.
A solid all-round performance from the home side saw them lift themselves up another place in the league table.
Despite failing to score, the Reserves must be happy with a second point this season against a strong Hinton Reserves.
The team have not played to the best of their ability lately - perhaps they have reached a turning point.
