Town's First Team put in a good performance this weekend against top of the table Hadley Reserves.
Despite trailing 1-0 at the half time break, Buntingford put in an excellent second-half performance, drawing level midway through the half.
Hadley responded with a goal some 10 minutes from time, and scored a third just before the final whistle to gain all 3 points.
Our young Reserve side struggled to find its feet against a well-organised Chipperfield Corinthians, going down 4-0, but the Vets came away on Sunday with a 2-2 draw against Waltham Abbey Vets, with Ross Murphy scoring a brace.
Town's ladies put in their best showing of the season so far; despite trailing 2-0 at the half time break, the team showed great character, pulling back the two goals only to concede again with 15 minutes remaining.
Unfortunately one of our girls then suffered a head injury; the match was subsequently abandoned.
Thankfully she now appears to be on the mend.
