Cup Exit

18th Apr 2016
On Saturday the Reserves failed to reach their second successive Cecil Hudson Cup final after losing 3-1 to Knebworth Reserves.
Having beaten Knebworth 2-0 the previous week, Town were favourites to win the semi-final but were unable to do so and must now concentrate on the league to gain any silverware this season.
The First Team's match was called off as we were informed on Saturday morning that Old Parmiterians had unfortunately folded their club, bringing the total of teams to leave the Herts Senior County League this season to 6.
Old Parms' record has now been expunged from the league table, moving Buntingford, who have not played them this season, up two places in the table.
It was better news for the Vets who secured a 2-0 victory over Goldings; goalscorers were Glen Doughty and stalwart Chris Carter, whose strike secured his 100th goal for the club.
