Injury Woes

29th Feb 2016

This weekend saw Town emerge bruised but not battered following a week where injury worries and player availability were the key questions.

With the number of injuries hitting double figures the week was spent trying to find faces to fit the gaps.

Thankfully enough players stepped forward and despite our concerns results were better thank expected.

The First Team drew 2-2 with Belstone and perhaps should have emerged with all 3 points.

The Reserves scored 5 goals to no reply at home to Letchworth Garden City Eagles Reserves and continue to press for a place at the top of the table.

The Vets went down by the odd goal in 5, but put in a good performance against Allenburys Vets.

All in all it has been a frustrating week, but we would like to express a big thank you to everyone in the club who helped us out during this difficult period.
