Last night Town's Reserves were knocked out of the Herts FA Intermediate Cup at the Quarter Final stage of the competition.
London Colney Reserves, whose first team currently sit at the top of the Spartan South Midland League's Premier Division, started the game on top and scored their first after 30 minutes of the game.
A second followed soon after; Buntingford had a chance to get a goal back, but Ethan Draper's penalty was well-saved by the Colney 'keeper.
Town conceded again early in the second half, and were then reduced to 10 men when Jonni Wedge was dismissed from the field of play following his second yellow card.
Nevertheless, Buntingford worked hard and created some more chances before the opposition scored their 4th just 1 minute from the final whistle.
Despite the result, Town's Reserves should be congratulated on their progress in the competition this year and their unbeaten run of 11 matches prior to this game.
