Reserves move to second

21st Sep 2015
An excellent performance and 2-1 victory saw Town's Reserves move to second place in the league table on Saturday.
With both Knebworth and Buntingford both having a 100% record for the season so far it was always going to be a tough game but a goal in each half from in-form striker Luke Smith saw Town gain 3 hard-earned points.
Town are now level on points with Nirankari Hitchin with a game in hand.
The Vets on Sunday faced last season's league champions Ware Strollers at The Bury and went down 3-1.
The scoreline did not reflect the closeness of the game however, a combination of the Strollers' goalkeeper and the woodwork ensuring that only Glen Doughty was able to add another goal to his season's tally.
