Christmas Cheer

22nd Dec 2014

Saturday's results held some cheer for Town as they go into the Christmas break top of the pack in the Herts Senior County League Division One.

The match against Colney heath was a bad-tempered affair but resulted in a 2-1 victory for Buntingford with Chris Babbage and Luke Smith finding the net.

Old Parmiterians slipped up with a 3-3 draw at Hinton which saw Town go top as we head into the Christmas break.

Town are next in action on 3rd January, at The Bury, when Old Parms are our visitors.

That promises to be a great game.

The Reserves were not in action at the weekend, due to the inability of Letchworth Garden City to field a team.

The Vets also had a weekend off, and are still basking in the glory of their last match, a fine 2-2 draw against league leaders Waltham Abbey Vets.

All that remains is to wish everyone involved with the club a great Christmas; thanks for all of your efforts so far this season - let's continue the good wotk into 2015!
