Two Good Wins

22nd Sep 2014
There were excellent wins on Saturday for the club's County League sides.
The First Team comfortably beat struggling Kimpton Rovers 6-1, with Chris Babbage's hat-trick moving him to the top of the club's goalscorer's table.
The Reserves put in an excellent performance at The Bury against Knebworth Reserves; the team kept a clean sheet and there were goals from Jonni Wedge, James Hughes and Ollie Townsend in the 3-0 victory.
Both sides now sit in the top half of their respective league tables, which is good news at this early stage of the season.
Unfortunately the Vets did not fare so well with a heavy defeat in the league on Sunday, going down 7-1 to Ware Strollers, with Mark Ward scoring our only goal.
