Cup Exits.

25th Feb 2013
Both County League sides were in cup action at the weekend, but unfortunately both sides lost.
The First Team went ahead thanks to a Ross Barker penalty midway through the first half, but 3 second half strikes from Bushey Rangers saw the home side go out of the Aubrey Cup.
The Reserves faced a tough fixture at Reserve Division One leaders Bush Hill Rangers, and although Tommy Faherty and Mike Holland scored a goal apiece, the final score in this Reserve Cup match was 5-2 to the opposition.
The Vets failed to hit the back of the net on Sunday, as did their Knebworth counterparts; it was wondered if the 0-0 draw was the first in the Vets' history - it certainly is an unusual scoreline.
In fact the side have enjoyed a 0-0 result just 4 times in their 252 games - twice against Therfield (2004, 2006), once against Birchanger (2006), and now once against Knebworth.
