The Disruption Continues.
18th Feb 2013
Rain, snow, rain, thaw. It has been a difficult few weeks.
Yet again the weekend's fixture programme suffered as the Bury pitch did not recover from Monday's snowfall until Thursday's rain and was unable to dry out in time for Saturday's game.
The Albury Cup match against Bushey Rangers will now be played this Saturday; we have 2 tons of sand with which to treat the worst affected areas, and with some graft and good fortune (no more rain please) we will do our best to get the game played.
However, the Reserves were in action on Saturday, and forfeitted a 2-0 lead in the final 15 minutes at Wormley Rovers; nevertheless the 2-2 draw saw the side climb up a place in the league table.
The Vets' losing streak continued as they went down 3-2 against Standon and Puckeridge; hopefully they will be back to winning ways soon.
