A weekend undefeated.

6th Sep 2010

Not a bad weekend at all, with all three teams putting in good performances.

The First Team, at 2-0 up should have perhaps taken the spoils at County League newcomers 8 Bells Hatfield, but let the tie slip allowing the opposition back into the game and 1 point from the match.

However, far better to get a draw than to suffer a 3rd consecutive defeat; there's still plenty to play for this season.

The Reserves started their season off with an excellent 4-1 home victory against an under-par Bushey Rangers; Town's domination on the attack bodes well for the season ahead, and although manager Laurence Salmon was unable to be at the match you can be sure that he is studying the video of the side's performance in great detail!

The Vets continued their fine run of form with an excellent 4-1 victory over Littlington delivering a brace apiece for Lee Grinyer and man of the match Chris Carter (pictured).
