Over the Christmas break Town's Vets teamed up with the Buntingford Cougars Adults side to raise money for the Lynsey Ivison Trust.

The sides were mixed up and both managed by Barry Tokely, which made substitutions and tactics rather interesting to say the least!
Cougars had the best of the play, but despite being 5-3 down with less than 10 minutes remaining on the clock, the Vets pulled back two goals to level the scores at 90 minutes.
This superhuman effort was in no part due to the fact that an extra player in yellow had been smuggled onto the pitch!
In all, £135 was raised.
On New Years Day the annual Cougars Managers' match was played, and again a tidy sum of £95 was raised.
The grand total, a festive sum of £230, will be donated to the Lynsey Ivison Trust, a local charity which makes it possible for children with life-threatening illnesses to share a special holiday with their families.
