Tamed by the Lions.
24th Nov 2008
On Saturday, London Lions showed us just why they are top of the table as they beat Town 4-1 at The Bury with a confident display.
Buntingford were a goal down within three minutes and 3 down within 15 minutes as Lions swamped the home side's midfield, breaching the back-four with ease.
A fourth goal just one minute inside the second half put paid to any Buntingford comeback, but a better performance during the second period saw Town hold their own for the rest of the match.
The Reserves lost 3-0 at Codicote, who now move to the top of the table.
To finish a poor weekend off, the Vets went down 4-3 at Goldings.
