A Busy Weekend.
28th Jan 2008
At long last it was a full weekend of football for the club as we saw the weather improve, and the results were encouraging.
Phil Fisher was on target twice, pulling Town back from 3-0 down to within reach of a point against Codicote, but despite a good performance the First Team ran out of time on the referee's watch.
Tyrone Parry must have been happy with his new-look Reserve Team's performance as it came away from Lemsford with a 3-1 victory with goals from Lee Ridings, Carl Frostick and Robert Rollinson.
On Saturday evening the Quiz Night was a huge success, with a full-house of 10 teams - thanks to everyone who attended.
On Sunday, the Vets beat their Braughing counterparts 3-1 in a convincing performance, making it 3 wins on the trot for the club's old boys.
The U18s rounded off the weekend with a 3-0 victory over AFC Finchley in the Herts County Cup, and now progress to the Quarter-final stage where they will meet Cheshunt Youth.
