Yup, there's a long way to go - but Town put in a lively performance this afternoon to convincingly win their first league match of the season at home to Metropolitan Police Bushey and head the Herts County League Premier Division table.
The home side's pace was just too much for our visitors to cope with, and inevitably inappropriate tackles flew in resulting in 2 red cards for the Met.
Town's win was never really in doubt, and were it not for a number of missed chances, the 4-1 scoreline may well have been doubled.
