Goodbye Intermediate Cup...
4th Oct 2005
Town failed at the first hurdle in their defence of the Herts Intermediate Cup on Saturday when the Reserves were beaten 4-0 away at North Mymms. Nevertheless, last year's cup final will always bring back great memories.
It was better news for the First Team as they returned to winning ways, convincingly beating Little Munden 4-2.
The A's too had some good cheer as they ground out a 1-1 draw with Mangrove, but the B's failed to build on their win of last week as they went down 5-2 to league leaders Baldock Cannon.
Both the U18 and U16 youth squads progressed in the Herts County Cup on Sunday with 6-0 and 11-1 wins over St Margaretsbury and Basildon respectively.
The Midweek U18s will also be looking to progress in the Eastern Junior Cup at Baldock on Wednesday evening.
