Mark Babbage scored Town's goal in this afternoon's 1-1 draw with Canvey Island.
A first-half Mark Babbage goal put Town in front against a strong Canvey Island XI during Town's best spell of the game.
The opposition equalised some 15 minutes later following a strong challenge for a 50-50 ball with the home side's 'keeper Damian Williamson.
Buntingford started well in the second half, but during the last 30 minutes the superior fitness of the visitors came into play; however, Town defended stoutly and deserved the draw, much to the appreciation of a good-sized crowd.
